Haiti has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. From the relationships that I made with the people there to the impact we had on their communities, my time in Port-de-Paix is something that will stick with me for my entire life. Ronaldinio, especially, will hold a very special place in my heart for as long as I can imagine. People often ask me, "Why is Ronaldinio so meaningful to you? What impact has he had on you?" I think what makes my relationship with him so special is that his impact on me was similar to the impact one of my best friends in Campbell Hall would have on me. I did not dwell on the fact that he was Haitian, but rather we developed a unique and real bond built on mutual respect and admiration.
